Flags of War...at it again!

Flags of War

Iain from Flags of War has commisioned me to paint a specially made vignette of the death of James 2nd Earl of Douglas and Mar at the Battle of Otterburn 1388.This will be used in promotional shots and advertising for both Claymore castings and Flags of War. It will then be given away to one lucky winner in 2013.

About Otterburn AKA the Battle of Chevy Chase

I will be chronicling the creation of this vignette on this blog. I'll make start over the next few days and show every step as it is being made. I plan to make it smilier to the one I did for WSS last year. (See below). but with Douglas dead protected by his Knights and retainers.

Flags of War will notify their customers about the details of this promotion.

it should be quite spectacular. You do good work.
