Next big game

 Here is a 'work in progress' image of the latest unit for my Russian SYW army.

 The 1st Battalion 'Nizovski' Regiment. I had hoped to get the 2nd Battalion done in time for the next big game on the 20th but thats looking unlikely now. 

The two battalions of the Regiment were part of the invasion of East Prussia.  In 1758 and were brigaded alongside my other Regiment 'Troitskiy' at the battle of Kunersdorf.

There will be many different collections at the game this Sunday (all very well painted) and I will post images afterwards.  We are running it as an 'imaginations/ what if'' type game as there are many different nationalities across all the guys collections... Bavarian, Wurttemberg, Austrians, Prussian and Russians. This way we can play with all the toys and have some fun!

We are running 2 x large games in the same hall. American Civil War and Seven Years War with 16 gamers, 8 in each game. I'm really looking forward to these games. We are using the Jay White, ACW rules, called 'This Hallowed Ground' and a Seven Years War variation put together by Nichol Murray called 'Prussian Glory'.
