I like the idea of using a wagon as one base of the artillery unit. I hadn't thought of that. Love the dense greenery on the bases, and non-gaudy flower clumps. I am very much in favour of bases being allowed to blend in a bit with the board rather than having thick distinct edges. The "wiggly" edges make the joins between the bases disappear surprisingly effectively.
They look magnificent, but is that one single enormous base they are on? I would probably have that number of figures spread over three!
