Missile troops.

These units, like the Artillery, are on three bases that link together. This Simon Miller's clever basing system.

I have used the the FKaP6 bases for the Archers and FK&P13b base for the shot.
Available from the "Big Red Bat' shop.

  1. Your basing is very intensive David....I tend to use one or two tufts per base , whereas your bases seem to be more or less wall to wall tufts....I do think yours look more like the real thing but you must go through a heap of basing material, which could be quite costly....unless you make your own, of course. The figures , as always, look wonderful!

  2. rross,it's a layer of 2mm static grass then small patches of 4mm/6mm grass over the top. I use a static grass application gun (gave myself a right shock with it today...gives you a fright when that happens:) I then add the tufts here and there. I do use a lot of tufts but there isn't as many as it looks. I think the 4mm/6mm long grass makes it look like all tufts.
