A couple of images of the last base of pike painted today, this finishes the Brigade. 4 units and a command base. 116 figures in total.

I'll do some Scots Lancers next.

3rd unit completed. That's everything I had planned to get done for the game on the 11th completed.  I will however add a 4th unit soon.

Earl of Lothian

The second Covenanter unit completed. The 'Earl of Lothian' regiment joins the Earl of Buccleugh’s regiment of foot. 58 figures in total. 

I'll probably paint up General Alexander Leslie now (who coincidentally is buried only a couple of miles from my house)

Another bases added to my Covenanter project. 

ECW

 The group I game with are doing an ECW game in September using the 'For King and Parliament '  rules by Simon Miller.  I don't like turning up for a game without toys or adding something new. I decided to fire my way through a box of Warlord Games plastic Covenanters. At first I wasn't sure about the figures but once based and flags added these should look OK. 

I have ordered up Flags from Flags of War and will start the pike block soon.
